Our strawberry campus in Virginia will be the world’s first indoor vertical farm campus—a group of vertical farms that all share resources. Our first farm on this land (opening 2024!) is designed to grow over 4 million pounds of delicious strawberries a year—even through the dead of winter. Soon after, we’ll add more farms to the campus, allowing us to grow up to 22 million pounds of produce a year, all on a plot of land a fraction of the size of Central Park.

We’re reimagining the farm from the ground up, which means a lot of brand new hardware, software, robotics, and more. Plenty® has more US patents than all other indoor sunless growers combined. That’s a lot of fresh thinking.
We’ve spent over a decade in research and development to build a new way to farm. In 2023 we announced plans to expand our research facility in Laramie, WY to become the world’s largest of its kind, so we’ve only just begun.
