Peak season quality,
all year round

Because we grow indoors we don’t need good weather to get the best harvests. In fact, our plants produce consistently great flavor all year round.

86X the yield

Our indoor strawberry farms are designed to produce up to 86X the yield per acre when compared to outdoor farms.

1% of the land

Our vertical plant towers offer an incredibly effective use of space. In fact we can grow the same yield as an outdoor strawberry farm in as little as 1% of the land. Great news for conservation.

FAQ

Plenty® uses vertical grow towers and an innovative lighting, water, and nutrient system to grow strawberries. By growing indoors, we can create an environment that can be fully controlled, delivering just the right amount of light, water, and nutrients plants need to be their best. Our technology allows us to use less space and water to grow more food. Plenty Farms® are designed to grow significantly more produce per acre while using just a fraction of the land and water than conventional farms.

No, Plenty is not certified organic. With Plenty’s unique indoor growing technology, we are able to control the growing environment in ways that outdoor and soil-based farms (conventional or organic) cannot. Because of that, we have chosen not to pursue organic certification and are instead focused on optimizing the benefits of our vertical farming systems through dynamic innovation to deliver the most flavorful fruit possible. Our strawberries are non-GMO and our farms are SQF- and GMP-certified (Safe Quality Food and Good Manufacturing Practices) while tackling critical sustainability concerns including climate resilience, minimizing land and water use, and preventing uncontrolled agricultural runoff.

We currently only grow strawberries for market, but our farms have grown leafy greens in the past. Our plant scientists are always looking for new fruits and vegetables to grow with our system.
