About Role

As an Account Manager at Plenty, you’ll be responsible for managing relationships with key retailers in the Bay Area. In this role you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, securing and overseeing the fulfillment of sales orders, and maintaining high levels of communication externally and internally.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage retail sales and/or account management experience to find ways to help our customers be more successful
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for many of our customers in the Bay Area
  • Assist with and manage in store tasting events
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify areas of growth including identifying new accounts or sales strategies
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of our products to the customer
  • Share feedback and insights internally with key stakeholders to improve our products
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally - assist with customer requests and escalate as needed
  • Onboard new retail customers

  • You are comfortable in a startup environment where things can change quickly
  • You are able to juggle multiple account projects at a time, maintaining your attention to detail
  • You have experience using a CRM software and are comfortable using other basic systems like MS Word and Gmail
  • 2+ years of experience in the retail food space or account management
  • Prior experience maintaining strong internal and external relationships
  • CRM software experience and proficiency in other basic software
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
