About Role

The Product Development Technician will be engaged with the company’s efforts to bring new products to market. The person will assist with sample preparation, experimental design, team scheduling, sensory sessions as well as data collection and analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Assist Sr. Product Development manager on various projects as needed
  • Conduct activities which support product development to drive future growth
  • Prepare samples and establish experimental design for shelf-life testing
  • Conduct shelf-life testing on products that are being developed
  • Conduct lab product testing during product development phase
  • Assist with setting up sensory tastings
  • Collect and analyze data and provide recommendations to Sr. Product Development manager
  • Maintain lab equipment

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors Degree in Science
  • 2+ years experience in a fast-paced environment or setting up experiments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work with project teams to support project priorities and technical resources
  • Experience with data collection, analysis and documentation tools
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS excel
  • Teachable team-player who is enthusiastic and hard-working
