Plenty is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Systems to join our Accounting & Finance team. The Finance team is responsible for cash management, fundraising, accounting, financial systems, budgeting, analysis, investor relations and strategic planning for this exciting Ag-tech startup. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Financial Systems and be responsible for building and managing a team which delivers solutions within the financial systems landscape as guided by company objectives. You will also liaise with cross functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Farm Operations, People, and Information Technology) to help users extract the most value from our systems.
In addition to personnel, program, and project management, you will assist with day-to-day, “lights-on” configuration and maintenance responsibilities, as well as helping to drive and implement process and system improvements within the organization. Leveraging business systems analysts, administrators, and third party consultants, you will be integral to the overall development, delivery, maintenance, continuity and support of our core financial systems. Successful candidates will have worked in fast paced organizations with rapid growth and frequent change.
- Lead business systems analysts, developers, and other third party consultants to deliver solutions related to financial systems
- Deliver high-quality, expert assistance to users through problem identification, analysis, and solution proposals
- Lead system enhancement projects from concept through support, including requirements definition, implementation tasks, and testing
- Work on NetSuite configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports and dashboards
- Perform minor configuration changes and general administrative tasks within our other landscape applications, including Coupa and Concur
- Interact with SaaS (Software as a Service) vendor technical support teams to initiate, monitor, and ultimately resolve system issues
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to analyze and document processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive regular testing cycles through planning, execution, and functional administration of our test management software, SpiraTest
- Travel <15% on an ad-hoc basis to support projects as needed
- 4+ years of NetSuite experience (or equivalent SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning application) in a multi-subsidiary environment
- Demonstrated experience in General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, and Inventory Management features and functionality
- Strong knowledge of overall finance business processes
- Ability to work autonomously, run and lead small to medium projects or parts of larger programs requiring program management involvement

- Outstanding analytical skills and technical aptitude
- Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting or a similar field
