- Performance Reporting: Develop Plenty’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue reporting capabilities, including owning KPI dashboards for leadership and the board; evaluate gaps vs. target and identify opportunities to resolve
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to calculate the effectiveness and ROI of our marketing campaigns and activations along with additional KPI measurement
- Provide post-promotion analysis and support trade and promotions process in coordination with Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams
- Go-to-Market Strategy and Analysis: Own commercial analytics for some of our largest partnerships by analyzing various go-to-market strategies inclusive of distribution, share, volume, pricing, profitability, competitive dynamics, market trends, and other strategic questions
- Create fact-based selling presentations using a variety of data sources to support key sales and business development initiatives; join sales and business development in customer sell-in meetings and quarterly category reviews
- Deliver accurate and actionable category and customer-specific insights (e.g., $/facings, pricing/promos) and thought leadership (e.g., inflationary environment); identify and evaluate hypotheses on how to drive greater sales
- Support broader strategic revenue management work streams as required and be an all around team player as new needs for the business arise
- Category Management: Leverage syndicated, direct, and shopper card data to develop deep understanding of Plenty’s categories, including category growth, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior
- Create and execute comprehensive data strategy, managing our syndicated, direct/retailer-specific, and shopper data
- Collaborate with IT and other internal teams to develop best-in-class data visualization tools; own relationships with data providers
- Travel up to 10% of the time

- Genuine interest and passion for Plenty’s mission
- 5+ years of category management, consulting, analytics, business development, or other relevant experience
- Ability to understand and analyze the implications of strategic growth decisions and competitive dynamics
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative); ability to integrate multiple data/analysis tools and leave no stone unturned
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business partners; cross-functional knowledge, including marketing, new product development, logistics, operations, and/or finance is a plus
- People person – you have the ability to forge positive relationships and turn external stakeholders into champions; you anticipate customer needs and deliver excellent customer outcomes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Focused, organized, results-oriented individual with a sense of urgency
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with syndicated or panel data services such as IRI, Nielsen, or 84.51 a plus
- Ability to work independently and navigate an ever-changing high growth environment

Plenty’s target compensation range for this role is $129,000 - $141,900 for this location. Actual compensation is commensurate with experience and alignment with role requirements.
