Engineering Software System Administrator
Contribute to the success of Plenty by ensuring the success of our engineering design and documentation tools. It takes a variety of engineering disciplines to make a novel manufacturing system and we therefore have a variety of CAD, PLM and data vault tools. You will ensure function, bring order and create a roadmap to evolve our tools that matches our corporate ambition.

Based in South San Francisco, CA - part time remote work considered
Less than 10% travel to other company sites may be expected.
What You'll Do
Install and maintain PDM / PLM system infrastructure and CAD applications.
Implement and maintain connections between various engineering content authoring tools like mechanical and electrical CAD
Implement and maintain connections between our PLM and ERP systems
Automate engineering design workflows
Support CAD and PDM / PLM end users with troubleshooting and organized training
Advocate for Plenty with our engineering software supply chain
Develop an engineering software tools roadmap that allows us to hit ambitious development goals
Implement business rules and practices in software (example: configuration management or phase gate checklists)
Manage relationships with engineering software vendors; onboard new vendors as appropriate
Lead requirements gathering & vendor selection as needed
What We're Looking For
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science discipline or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years related experience or 3 years and a Master's degree
Experience deploying and administering business database systems
Experience with integration tools like message brokers
Experience scripting for data manipulation or ETL
Experience using and administering mechanical or electrical CAD systems or the ability and interested in learning by someone coming with strong software skills.
Project management experience (particularly software deployment)
Food Safety and Regulatory Requirements
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
Support data storage and retrieval for regulatory purposes as necessary
