At Plenty, we’re on a mission to give people in local communities everywhere access to the freshest, most amazing tasting produce possible. And to do so in a way that’s better for the planet.
Plenty is changing the way the world grows food, and that comes with a wide variety of legal opportunities to explore. We are looking for an ambitious attorney to join our team to help tackle the range of issues we encounter every day. Your primary role will be supporting the procurement team and all other internal groups with structuring, drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements, and serving as the escalation point for general legal questions and issues. In addition, you will be asked to share the load on key special projects as they arise – which could range from exploring the regulatory landscape of food production and processing and how it applies to our systems, to unique and complicated financial transactions, to understanding the requirements to keep bees. We can also promise that you’ll get your hands dirty. Come be a flavor farmer with us.
In this role you will report to the Director, Legal. The role is based in South San Francisco, CA, though the team is working remotely during COVID-19.
