What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage all aspects of our accounting function including general accounting, technical accounting, cost accounting, tax and compliance

  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures

  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close

  • Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP

  • Manage the annual financial close and our financial audit

  • Improve upon existing accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes

  • Improve efficiency through implementation of systems and improved processes

  • Support our accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity

  • Oversee preparation of annual federal and state income tax returns and other tax compliance filings, and coordinate all tax research/projects

  • Ensure company is compliant with local, state and federal business compliance requirements

  • Manage relationships with external accountants and service providers

  • Oversee the Netsuite ERP and all integrated applications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience (prior public accounting experience a plus)

  • Significant experience managing an accounting function as a controller

  • High level of integrity and ethics

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting

  • CPA, a plus

  • Manufacturing experience, a plus

  • Startup experience, a plus

  • Experience with Netsuite, a plus
