About Role

We are continuing to build a People Team of the future for Plenty and are looking for a Director, People Operations to work closely with our Talent, People Ops and L&D/Internal Communications teammates to build infrastructure, programs and policies along with processes for scale.  You will report to the VP, People and as a part of the People leadership team, you will be intimately involved in planning and execution of our People Strategy along with interaction with all levels of the organization from our Engineering and Plant Science teams to our Farm team - you are inclusive in how you support our teammates through People resourcing.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Understand Plenty’s organizational needs and create and drive processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant, efficient, scalable, and reflect our values.

  • Maintain systems standards and processes related to onboarding, change management, and offboarding.

  • Partner with the VP, People to deliver on compensation philosophy through total compensation plans including salary and equity structures.  Manage and administer all compensation related matters including promotion and compensation cycles.

  • Set the strategy for a scalable, progressive benefits offerings to support Plenty teammates’ physical, mental and financial wellness.

  • Lead the evaluation and where applicable adoption and implementation of scalable tools and systems including HRIS, LMS, ATS

  • Ensure People Operations audit and control processes are developed and followed in compliance with Federal and State laws as well as internal guidelines

  • Develop and champion strong, collaborative cross-functional relationships with teams including Legal, Finance, and various Leaders across the organization.

  • Lead and execute immigration and mobility programs including developing a strong partnership with our external immigration law firm.

  • Manage our People intranet

What We’re Looking For

  • You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role

  • You have least 4 years of people management experience

  • You have demonstrated ability to work with remote teams in multiple locations

  • Your experience includes a manufacturing, distribution center, or similar work environment

  • You are a strong operational thinker, with a knack for solving problems and are efficient & effective building solutions

  • You are a proven team player with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
